Notes to Editors:

In November last year, Volkswagen Middle East invited its partners in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, KSA, Bahrain, Syria and Oman to participate in the regional round of its 2009 Volkswagen Service Qualification Championship, with two winners from each market qualifying for the international final.

A total of 31 technicians and service advisors took part in the Middle East qualifying round in Dubai, competing against each other through two rounds of targeted multiple choice questionnaires.

Through the competition, the knowledge status of service advisers and technicians can be verified, and targeted qualification initiatives catering for cultural differences and differentiated learning methods in various countries can be developed. The Qualification World Championship also helps to steadily raise the motivation of local service specialists.
