Held at The Jebel Ali International Shooting Club and Centre of Excellence, 128 players in eight teams from Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia competed for the top spot, amid a carnival atmosphere provided by friends, family, media, and VIPs cheering them on.

On the success of this year’s competition, Stefan Mecha, Managing Director of Volkswagen Middle East, said, “This is the second year we have held the Middle East finals in Dubai, and this year proved to be a fantastic competition of the best-of-the-best in the three competing markets. The teams displayed great sportsmanship to one another and showcased some extraordinary soccer talent on the pitch.”

The one day tournament was played in a ‘round-robin’ and K.O. format, with each team consisting of 11 players and five substitutes. All matches were played according to FIFA rules. The Volkswagen Junior Masters Soccer Tournament Middle East Champions will now fly to Germany for an exciting all-expense paid trip to the home of Volkswagen in Germany, Wolfsburg.
