The purpose-built sport utility vehicle has taken part in the Dakar Rally for the past seven years, coming first in the 2009 race.
Complimenting the Race Touareg was the Volkswagen Scirocco GT24 model with its sleek blue-white finish making its first appearance in the region also. The 315hp Scirocco GT24, competed in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring last year. |
